When your smile is healthy, you feel more confident and the more confident you are, the more you can accomplish. The feeling of a health mouth is everything and seeing a dentist on a regular basis will ensure that when dental problems crop up, they are caught early and before they turn very negative and costly.
We offer all of the services that you would need from a dentist, but here we will highlight just four of the services we provide. However, you can always learn more about other services we provide by clicking here.
Fluoride Treatment Service
What is a fluoride treatment? Fluoride is a natural mineral. It has the ability to increase tooth enamel health. This is a treatment that has been used for decades as it acts as the first line of defense from bacteria which wreaks havoc on gums and teeth. If you are at high risk when it comes to the development of cavities, fluoride could very well be your friend. Fluoride restores minerals to the enamel of the teeth and fights future bacteria.
Fluoride treatment will not remove tooth decay, but the benefit of fluoride is that it will make the outer surface of your teeth stronger which helps teeth fight the decay from ever penetrating deeper into the tooth.
Fluoride is not just for children; adults can also benefit from fluoride treatments too. However, it is worth noting that a child who has a fluoride treatment is 43% less likely to suffer from cavities.
Regular check-ups are our defense when it comes to tooth decay, but if you have a cavity you will want to get that cleaned out and filled with a dental filling. We can restore damage to a tooth decay with a filling material. A filling can also prevent further damage to the tooth as it closes off any space that bacteria can fall into.
There are many different types of dental filling material that dentists will use. As an educated dentist, we use only the strongest material available for all of our dental fillings after taking into consideration what is best for our patient.
It is important to understand that regular dental examinations make it possible for us dentists to detect problems early on. The earlier the better for you. Aside from regular dental check-ups, good home hygiene practices are very important. Brush and floss at least twice a day. These healthy habits will serve you well towards good dental health.
A dental extraction is nothing we take lightly. Removing a tooth can be very traumatizing as it has lasting effects. In some cases, we will need the patient to start antibiotics leading up to the dental procedure.
In almost all cases, there will be a bit of bleeding and we as your dentist will make sure that you go home with clear instructions to follow for your post–op care. You will want to avoid anything that will get in the way of your healing at this delicate time. You will want to follow all of our instructions to the letter in order to heal correctly.
Often times, you can have a dental issue that is not detected if you are not seeing the dentist for bi-annually dental check-ups.
Sometimes these dental issues create pain that requires a dental emergency visit to the dentist. We are here to help you through any dental emergency that you may have. And, we will do everything in our power to get you into the dental office as quickly as possible. You do not need to suffer as our goal is to get you out of pain as soon as possible.
If there is a situation where there is a chipped tooth or a tooth that has been knocked out, it is very important that you contact us immediately and bring us any remains of the tooth.
We would not want anyone to suffer from dental pain. It is important to understand when something is not right, that you see the dentist as soon as possible.
We offer many other types of dental services than the ones that are list here and we hope that all of our patients will be open about their issues so that we can suggest the treatment plans that are right for you. If you are a patient already, we are happy to have you as a part of our family and if you are looking for dental services or seeking a new dentist, we would encourage you to give us a call and see how our dentists can help you with all of your family dental needs.
