Dear Patients of TruDentistry of Tigard
As per the Governor’s plan to slowly reopen the state, TruDentistry of Tigard will start to see patients again as of May 4, 2020. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding in the last few weeks of closure. Please understand that our decision to reopen is made with careful consideration, that we would like to take care of patients who are in need. We will be taking all the necessary safety precautions and maintaining social distancing while in practice to keep our patients and staff safe.
To ensure everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that all patients be willing to commit to the following:
-Prescreen phone calls will be made to each individual for any suspicious symptoms prior to appointment. If any signs of fever, cough, or feeling of unwell, the patient will be asked to postpone their appointment.
-Any patient coming in will be scanned with an infrared thermometer to check for temperature.
-Prior to being seated in the dental chair, the patient will be asked to wash their hands and rinse the mouth with 0.5% Peroxyl.
To ease any concerns that you may have, we would like to let you know that we are making changes to comply with the social distancing guidelines.
-We will only schedule one patient per hour for each provider
-Patients will be seated with at least one empty operatory in between each other
-There will be no more than two patients in the waiting area at a time and each will be seated more than six feet from each other
-We will be disinfecting common areas including entry doors, reception chairs, and front desk counters through the day.
Dentistry in itself is a highly sanitary profession. As always, we sterilize instruments and wipe down operatories in between patients. We will be utilizing extra barriers, such as face shields and N95 masks to keep our staff and patients safe.
We also ask that you do your part:
- Please ask people accompanying patients to wait in the parking lot. This is the standard operating procedure for all health professionals at this time.
- We ask that you please wear a face-covering into the dental office.
- If you take the elevator, please do not get in the elevator with others. Wait for it to return.
Please know that your safety is our priority. For patients who would like to be seen, we are available to take care of your needs. For patients who are still hesitant, please know that we fully understand and respect your decision. As always, we are happy to hear from you, please reach out at a time that is best for you.
Stay safe and healthy, everyone!
